As the Legal Counsel, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal advice, support and leadership to the company's operations in the wider Asia-Pacific region. Reporting to the Head of APAC Legal, we are looking for a proactive team player in this role to help the legal department establish and execute on strategies and processes that are designed to support scalable growth and build trust with customers. This position is based in our Seoul office.   The Opportunity:   Provide legal counsel, guidance, and support on a wide range of legal matters related to Moloco's current and future legal and business operations in Asia-Pacific. Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including but not limited to, demand and supply side ad tech agreements, vendor and procurement contracts, and other customer-facing agreements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with business decisions and initiatives. Manage Moloco’s APAC entities to ensure compliance with local law requirements. Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise internal stakeholders accordingly. Assist in the development and implementation of Moloco policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance across all APAC offices. Manage and oversee any legal disputes or litigation involving Moloco in APAC. Provide legal training and assistance to internal stakeholders to enhance their understanding of legal requirements and best practices. Assist on day-to-day legal administrative and contract management responsibilities.   How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?   Law degree and a valid license to practice law in the U.S., Korea, China, Japan or Singapore.  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a legal counsel or attorney for a technology company, preferably with a focus in the adtech or machine learning industry.  Extensive experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements. Experience working in a multinational company with executive management overseas. Strong knowledge of APAC regional-specific laws and regulations, particularly in areas such as corporate law, commercial law and data privacy. Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical and strategic advice. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across different functions and cultures. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
