[What this Job Involves] Strategic Responsibilities • As part of the South Korea leadership team, this role focuses on executing the legal strategy to enable high growth expectations and drive the business's revenue. • The role is mandated to enhance critical processes to drive efficiencies and maximize business impact. • Examine, refine, and revamp corporate policies, procedures, compliance, and training programs to fit the future of real estate. • Be a member of one of our Regional Centers of Excellence (Litigation, Compliance, M&A, Legal Operations, Data Privacy, Corporate Governance, and Employment) to coordinate with Global Legal Centers. Transactions Support • Lead transactions and launch innovative real estate products. • Spearhead our legal strategy, instilling practices that fuel our high-growth trajectory while safeguarding our ethics. • Be the vanguard for our legal digital transformation, increasing efficiency that propels us and our clients ahead. • Creates and implements best practices from legal teams in real estate and other industries (e.g., templates, delegations of authority, policies, negotiation guidance, e-signing, corporate governance for sales teams) Supervisory and Managerial • We are focused on driving the business objectives of supporting commercial growth and managing risk in South Korea. • Reports into General Counsel, Japan & Korea • Represents Korea on the APAC Legal team to ensure ONE Legal initiative, consistency of deals, and pooling of efforts and resources.
